Quantum Ichiban are our pure powder pigments, made in the old traditional way.
Why did we name our new color range 'Ichiban' you ask? Well, because Ichiban means "number one" or "the best" in Japanese. Simply stated, Quantum Ichiban is number one and pays homage to the first batches of tattoo ink in Japan, which were very high in pigment concentration. When referring to colors, Ichiban might be used to describe a color that stands out, excels, or is considered the most vibrant and appealing among others. Quantum Ichiban goes back to the old school ways of tattooing in Japan. These inks are not for the fainthearted, powder pigments require a different way of tattooing but will be brighter and longer lasting than any other ink out there! It signifies a color of superior quality or beauty. Our Ichiban is number one in any language.
